I love discovering cozy restaurants that are not crowded. While I enjoy eating in popular restos, I hate the idea of having to wait for several minutes just to get a table. So for hubby’s birthday, I’m glad we learned about Blue Rocket Cafe + Kitchen, a burgeoning restaurant tucked in a quiet residential area near Tomas Morato, Quezon City.
With its cozy interior, Blue Rocket is an ideal date place for couples and a great alternative to popular coffee shops for those who wish to study, work or just chill.
But the comfy and intimate ambiance of this cafe in Quezon City is just the icing on the cake. The meals were delectable and surprisingly affordable.
I had Torched Shrimp Tempura Rice for dinner for only PHP255. Served with rice and side veggie salad, my meal included 5 pieces of beer-battered and torched shrimp tempura with terriyaki and miso sauce.
We also ordered Honey Garlic Pork Belly. For only PHP235, we enjoyed crispy liempo tossed in garlic glaze.
