Hotel Casiana Tagaytay: A Fun, Kid-Friendly Staycation Spot for Families

For my birthday celebration this year, we decided to have a family staycation at a kid-friendly hotel, Hotel Casiana Tagaytay. Since we brought the girls to Yokiโ€™s Farm in Cavite that day, we thought it would be the perfect chance to turn it into an overnight trip. After rounds of online searching for family-friendly accommodations near Cavite, I came across Hotel Casiana. Its family-friendly amenities, cozy vibe, and reasonable rates won me and my husband over immediately. We went ahead and booked a room.

Our little girls surely loved their stay at Hotel Casiana & Events Center Tagaytay. That’s all that matters to Mommy and Daddy. Sharing here some of the highlights from our stay:

Heated Pool at Hotel Casiana Tagaytay

Tagaytayโ€™s cool breeze is always refreshing. However, it can get a little too chilly for the kids when itโ€™s pool time. Thankfully, Hotel Casiana has a heated swimming pool! The water was comfortably warm, so the kids enjoyed swimming without shivering, even in the late afternoon. It was one of their favorite parts of the trip.

Carousel Ride

Another treat for the little ones was the hotelโ€™s carousel. Itโ€™s not included in the room package though โ€” thereโ€™s a small additional fee for each ride. But seeing the joy on the kidsโ€™ faces while going round and round made it worth it.

Spacious Room with a Veranda

With two energetic kids, a requirement for our staycations is a room big enough for the kids to run around. Thankfully, our room at Hotel Casiana was spacious, clean, and well-lit.

What I loved most was the private veranda where we could enjoy the cool breeze and Tagaytayโ€™s serene view. It felt relaxing to sip my Frappe (beer for hubby) there while the kids played inside.

Delicious Food at Hotel Casiana Restaurant

We decided to have dinner at Cusina Casiana, the hotel restaurant, and it did not disappoint.

The menu at Hotel Casiana Tagaytay had a good variety of options and everything we ordered tasted great.

Our top favorite was the Osso Buco โ€” tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Highly recommend it if youโ€™re planning to stay!

Our accommodation package also came with a free breakfast buffet for two adults, which was a nice bonus. The breakfast spread had a good variety of options โ€” from classic Filipino favorites to kid-friendly picks. It was a cozy way to start our morning. The girls enjoyed their own little breakfast treats as well.

Facilities at Hotel Casiana Tagaytay

Like most hotels in Tagaytay, Hotel Casiana has an events place, a fitness center, and a spa.

Hotel Casiana Tagaytay also has an indoor playground for little kids. While itโ€™s great that there is one, it requires an additional fee to use. It would have been nice if it were complimentary for checked-in guests, especially since most families check in with kids in tow.

Overall, our Hotel Casiana Tagaytay stay was a delightful experience. It checked all the boxes for a kid-friendly, relaxing, and affordable staycation in Tagaytay. The heated pool, spacious rooms, and satisfying food made it a trip to remember.
