My husband and I recently celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary at Solaire Resort North, and I still can’t believe it’s been a decade already! To mark this milestone, we wanted a family getaway without the hassle of leaving the city. With our eldest busy with school in the morning, an out-of-town trip just wasn’t practical. A staycation close to home was the perfect solution—and Solaire Resort North in Quezon City turned out to be exactly what we were looking for.

The first thing we noticed was the fast and accommodating service. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. It’s probably the quickest we’ve ever experienced in a hotel. With kids, long lines can be stressful, but here we didn’t have to wait long at all. The staff were attentive and efficient, which set the tone for a smooth stay.

Spacious and Comfortable Rooms

We booked a Deluxe Room via Agoda. Beyond its modern design and spotless cleanliness, what we loved most was the spacious layout, which was perfect for giving our little ones plenty of room to move around and play.

We especially appreciated that there were three bathrobes and slippers—one for our eldest too.

Lots of Activities for Kids

Solaire Resort North makes sure kids won’t get bored.

Activity Book: The girls got excited to find a kid activity book waiting in our room.

Swimming Pool: The pool area has a safe kiddie section perfect even for toddlers. Since the pool is heated, the kids enjoyed splashing around without getting cold.

Water Park: Playing at the Water Park is a great bonding for families. Our girls had so much fun playing together with their Dad, while I, as usual, had fun taking photos.

Kids Club: Spread across five levels, Kids Club at Solaire Resort North is an immersive play space that includes a 2-lane bowling alley, party rooms, a snack bar, and plenty of activities for children. It’s designed to encourage play, creativity, and social interaction in a safe environment.

Tip for Parents: Make sure to book a reservation for the Kids Club before your stay. Unfortunately, when we visited, it was reserved for a private event, and the kids were frustrated they couldn’t try it out. That was the only downside to our otherwise awesome staycation.

Easy Access to Nearby Destinations

Another plus point: Solaire Resort North is right in the heart of Vertis North. If you want to step out, it’s convenient to stroll around the calm walkways or visit Ayala Malls Vertis North for some shopping or family dining.

Wide Range of Dining Options

Food is always part of the staycation experience, and Solaire Resort North offers plenty of choices.

You can order food at the Pool Café. Our girls loved their four cheese pizza paired with chilled mango juice.

Another casual dining option is the Food Court. It’s a dining hub with diverse flavors, from Japanese food to pastries.

You can also try their specialty dining options like Manyaman and French International Buffet. There are also signature restaurants within the property like Red Lantern, Yakumi, and Finestra.

Sweet Anniversary Surprise

On the evening of our anniversary, the hotel surprised us with a special cake delivered to our room. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made our celebration extra special.

Family-Friendly Design

As parents, we really appreciated how the resort was designed with families in mind. Family access walkways connect guests to kid-friendly amenities like the Kids Club, water park, and restaurants while keeping them separate from the casino areas. This thoughtful design made us feel at ease exploring the resort with our children.

Our stay at Solaire Resort North was a memorable way to celebrate our milestone anniversary without leaving the city. With its 5-star service, family-friendly amenities, spacious rooms, and thoughtful details, it’s a great choice not just for couples but also for families with kids.
