Global Physical AI company XPENG has officially launched in the Philippines, bringing its X9 and L03 models to the local market in a grand launch at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

The Philippine lineup includes six variants across two models, with prices starting at ₱1,548,000.

And because no major launch is complete without a little star power, actress, television host, and recording artist Anne Curtis was also introduced as XPENG Philippines’ official brand ambassador.

A new kind of driving experience

The launch brought together around 3,000 guests, including media, content creators, automotive industry executives, partners, special guests, and members of the public.

But beyond the cars themselves, XPENG also gave guests a glimpse into its vision of Physical AI, technology designed to interact with and respond to the physical world.

The event featured displays of the X2 Flying Car and IRON Humanoid Robot, giving guests a peek at how XPENG sees intelligent technology extending beyond the traditional automobile.

For families, however, it was the two vehicles making their Philippine debut that may be the most interesting.

XPENG X9: A Spacious Ride for Family Adventures

If your family spends a lot of time on the road, whether for school runs, weekend errands, or out-of-town trips, the XPENG X9 is designed with space and passenger comfort in mind.

The flagship Ultra-Intelligent Seven-Seater MPV comes in two Long Range variants:

• XPENG X9 Long Range — ₱3,858,000
• XPENG X9 with Second Row Premium Seat Package — ₱4,058,000

Both versions offer a spacious seven-seater configuration, but families can choose between different second-row seating experiences.

The Premium Seat Package includes four-way powered headrest adjustment and 16-point massage, while the X9 Long Range features Zero-Gravity seats separated by a central aisle, allowing passengers to move more easily between the second and third rows.

That flexibility can be particularly useful for families with children, where getting in and out of the third row (or simply moving around the cabin) can make a difference during longer drives.

Designed for easier family trips

The X9 also comes with active rear-wheel steering, giving it a turning radius of just 5.4 meters. This is designed to make maneuvering the large MPV easier in tight turns, narrow streets, and parking areas.

It also features intelligent dual-chamber air suspension and a powered third row that can fold beneath the floor at the touch of a button, creating additional cargo space.

Both X9 variants are equipped with a 110 kWh battery and offer up to 615 km of driving range (WLTP).

With a compatible DC fast charger and under optimal conditions, the vehicle can charge from 10 to 80 percent in approximately 12 minutes.

XPENG L03: A More Everyday-Friendly Option

For families looking for something smaller than a seven-seater MPV, the XPENG L03 Next-Generation AI SUV Coupé offers another option.

The L03 comes in four variants:

• L03 EV RWD Long Range Ultra — ₱2,058,000
• L03 EV Long Range — ₱1,698,000
• L03 REEV — ₱1,598,000
• L03 EV Standard Range — ₱1,548,000

Three are fully electric models, while one (the L03 REEV) is a range-extended electric vehicle.

The Long Range Ultra comes with a 71.1 kWh battery and up to 480 km of driving range, along with features such as front-seat massage, an upgraded sound system, and additional intelligent driving hardware.

The L03 EV Long Range uses the same 71.1 kWh battery and offers up to 520 km of range, while the Standard Range variant uses a 58.3 kWh battery and offers up to 445 km.

What about the range-extended L03?

For families who like the idea of driving electric but are still concerned about longer journeys, the L03 REEV offers another approach.

It has a 37.2 kWh battery and can travel up to 215 km on electric power alone.

For everyday activities such as school runs, errands, commuting, and even some intercity trips, that means a significant portion of driving can potentially be done using battery power.

When additional range is needed, the onboard engine generates electricity for the battery rather than directly driving the wheels. Its combined WLTP range can reach up to 1,017 km.

All four L03 variants are five-seaters and feature a 539-liter rear luggage area, a 15.6-inch central touchscreen, and XPENG’s driver assistance and safety technologies.

Her involvement comes as XPENG begins introducing its vehicles and Physical AI technology to Filipino consumers. The launch also featured performances by singer-songwriter TJ Monterde, P-pop group GAT, and social media personality Criselda Alvarez.

XPENG Philippines is a direct subsidiary of XPENG and the company’s first subsidiary in Southeast Asia.

The company had established a presence in 60 countries and regions by the end of 2025, with cumulative worldwide vehicle deliveries exceeding 1.2 million as of July 31, 2026.
