Hotel Kimberly Tagaytay: Holiday Destination for Families with Kids

Many things change when you already have a child. That includes your choice of anniversary celebration! 😊 My husband and I celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary last September 5.  Instead of watching the sunset together in a romantic cruise or doing one of those exciting backpacker trips as a couple, my husband and I celebrated in a place where our Little Miss Toddler can have her best day ever. 😊

Days of online searching for “where to take your toddler out of town” led me to this kid-friendly hotel in Tagaytay, Hotel Kimberly.  Our overnight stay in this hotel proved that, no doubt, Hotel Kimberly Tagaytay’s got it all for the little ones.  It’s an accommodation ideal for families with curious and energetic little children.

Here’s a list of activities that both adults and kids can enjoy inside Hotel Kimberly:

Swimming

Hotel Kimberly has a swimming pool for adults and a smaller pool for kids.

Playing

Kids will definitely enjoy playing in the outdoor playground of Hotel Kimberly.

They have a wide play area where both toddlers and bigger kids can enjoy.

What our little Tash enjoyed the most is playing in the kiddie pool slide. The water + slide = super fun equation works best for our one-year-old. 😍

Seeing this smile on our child’s face is more than enough gift for our wedding anniversary.

What if it rains? No worries! Children can still enjoy even during the rainy season as Hotel Kimberly Tagaytay has an indoor playground.

Basketball, table tennis and billiards

Sports is always a great way for parents and kids to bond. Hotel Kimberly has a basketball court for guests. It also has a game room that allows guests to enjoy table tennis, billiards or basketball shooting.

Animal Feeding and Organic Farm Tour

Hotel Kimberly has its own farm, and guests are encouraged to visit and feed the animals in it.

It was our little Tash’s first close encounter with farm animals like ducks, geese, horses, chickens, and sheep. She enjoyed feeding the animals with us. 😊

Our family also enjoyed the tour inside Hotel Kimberly’s organic farm. Fresh veggies like lettuce and tomatoes grow in the farm. They serve it in the hotel’s restaurant, but guests who wish to take home some greens can buy these fresh veggies too.

Our farm tour was a fun way to teach our toddler about so many things. It’s a great way to introduce her to taking care of nature. Plus, she was so happy that the animals she used to see in books were right in front of her. 😊

Bonfire, Movie Night and Horseback Riding

Since we had a limited time, we didn’t experience the other activities offered by Hotel Kimberly Tagaytay. Guests can also enjoy movie night with unlimited popcorn, bonfire with marshmallow roasting, and riding the hotel’s friendly horse named Toffee.

Spacious and cozy room

Aside from the activities, we also enjoyed our overnigt stay at Hotel Kimberly Tagaytay. Our hotel room was spacious and had everything we needed for a staycation: tv, refrigerator, aircon, wifi, hot and cold shower, hair dryer, and free toiletries.

Free milk and cookies for kids

Surprised to hear a knock on our hotel room door after dinner. When I opened the door, a friendly hotel staff handed me cookies and a glass of fresh milk. It’s free for kiddie guests. 😊

Cafe at K

Guests may choose not to go out of the hotel for meals as there is an in-house resto named Cafe at K. We had our anniversary dinner in this resto, and we’re satisfied with the food and the price.

Our only complaint was there are only two viands in the breakfast buffet included in our accommodation package.

I must say that we did the right choice in deciding to stay in Hotel Kimberly Tagaytay for our third anniversary. I recommend it to other parents who want to bring along their little children with them for a short vacation.
