My husband recently turned 40, and instead of hosting a big party, we opted for something more intimate and meaningful—a relaxing family staycation. At this stage in life, when we’re in our late 30s and early 40s, we’d much rather invest our time and energy in experiences that create lasting memories for our children.

There was plenty of room for the kids to move around and for the Birthday Boy to enjoy some me time (video games and movie watching on his phone)—definitely a treat for any dad!

The suite featured a sleek, well-lit bathroom and came fully equipped with all the essentials—mini fridge, hair dryer, work desk, electric kettle, complimentary bottled water, and plenty of charging outlets for our gadgets.

The interiors were clean and cozy, with a stunning city view that added to the calming atmosphere.

Rooftop Pool & Family Fun

The highlight of our staycation? Fam time at the rooftop pool! With separate adult and kiddie sections, it gave us the perfect mix of relaxation and fun. It was one of those laid-back afternoons we didn’t know we needed until we were there.

Our morning began with a buffet breakfast at Misto, Seda’s all-day dining restaurant. The ambiance was elegant yet casual, and the food was delicious—plenty of variety and something for everyone.

One thing we truly appreciated was Seda Manila Bay’s direct access to Ayala Malls Manila Bay. A quick stroll led us to nearby restaurants, cafés, and stores—perfect for spontaneous ice cream runs or picking up essentials without any hassle.

Our staycation at Seda Ayala Manila Bay was everything we hoped for—relaxing, meaningful, and joy-filled. It reminded us that the best celebrations don’t always need to be grand. Sometimes, all it takes is a beautiful space, quality family time, and a heartfelt meal to mark life’s special moments.
