Our hearts were united and blessed at the Parish of the Hearts of Jesus and Mary (PHJM).  🙂

From our list of Quezon City-based church options that included Mt. Carmel Shrine in New Manila, Sta. Rita de Cascia Church inside Philam Homes and Our Lady of Consolation Parish inside Mira Nila Homes, fiance and I chose the PHJM (previously known as Twin Hearts) in West Triangle.  As we wanted a not-so-big church with a cozy and peaceful ambiance in Quezon City, we fell in love right away with this small homey church that’s also just a few minutes drive away from our reception venue, Elements at Centris.

As of 2014 (when we finalized our booking), the church wedding fee was Php16,000. The wedding fee covers use of church, candles, servers, coordinator, flowers, pre-Cana seminar fee, stipend for the officiating priest, processing of documents, organist and soloist during the Mass.

Since we were part of a choir in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish in Project 6, we requested to bring our own choir and musicians, and we requested to have two of our family friend priests to con-celebrate our nuptial mass. PHJM allowed us to do so. 🙂
