I was a beauty product noob. When I was single, my kikay kit was so spacious. It only housed a pressed powder, a lip balm, a comb, and a bottle of cologne. I did a lot of attempts to use trendy lippies, facial creams, and other beauty stuff my kikay friends raved about, but sadly, my affection for them didn’t last for a month. I was as clueless as a guy when it came to beauty products. I always thought it was a waste of time and energy to prettify oneself. Haha!
Pregnancy and motherhood gave me a brand-new point of view, however. In the middle of my hormone-related self-pity moments, I figured that a dab of color on my lips won’t be too much of a bother if it will help boost my dying self-confidence. And it’s true, whether you’re a working mom or a stay-at-home mom, you deserve a personal time to prettify yourself. After a long demanding day without enough sleep, a bit of blush on the cheeks and styling of hair can probably perk up our day. True enough, it takes a little bit of effort to nurture our God-given physical beauty to be happy in our own skin.
As a new consumer in the beauty product market, I couldn’t be happier when I received this gift bag at Millennial Moms PH and Eastwood City’s Mother’s Day event. The bag included four lovely Shut Up & Kiss Me Moisturizing lippies from Happy Skin!

Since I am a newcomer in the cosmetics universe, I love that it feels just like a lip balm when I apply it on my lips but leaves a vibrant color like a lipstick. It contains Shea Butter and Collagen, which makes my lips well moisturized.
Of the four Happy Skin lippies that I got, Shut Up & Kiss Me Moisturizing lippies in Crushing on You shade is my favorite. It helps me achieve that “no-make-up” look that’s perfect for a working mom like me. 😊
To make their skin happy, moms can check out other beauty products by visiting Happy Skin’s stores.
