Covid Vaccination for Kids

Our little girl attended her Covid vaccine party!πŸ₯³πŸ’‰ No joke! What seemed like a scary experience for this 5-year-old turned into a fun experience. All thanks to Quezon City (QC) Government’s Resbakuna Kids, pediatric vaccination drive.

We appreciated how the Quezon City LGU made an effort to decorate the vaccination site and turn it into a kid-friendly place. It helped remove our daughter’s fear of the injection. She became at ease when she saw that the place was more like a party place than a vax site.

Here’s her brave moment captured by her paparazzi mother. πŸ˜†

Of course, the party won’t be complete without mascots, magic show, icecream, and loot bags. πŸ₯³

Thank God our daughter experienced no side effects after her vaccination. She just said that her arm felt a bit heavy.

The Philippine Pediatric Society (PPS) and the Pediatric Infectious Disease Society of the Philippines (PIDSP) gave their full support for the Department of Health (DOH) and National Task Force (NTF) program to inoculate children aged 5 to 11 against Covid-19.
