Dear Tash,

Mom is scared of the virus that I tell you about. Sometimes, Mom is still feeling weird about our new setup. Most of the time, Mom is tired, trying to balance work and taking care of our home.

Despite all that, Mommy will do her best to protect you. Just like Rylie of Inside Out movie, Mom is now trying to control Fear and Sadness inside my mind, so Joy can lead and Mom can remain to be a happy and strong Mommy for you. 🙂

I‘ll never hide the truth from you. The world now is not as safe as it used to be. But I want you to know that Mom and Dad’s arms will always protect you. With a quiet prayer in our hearts, we hope to raise you to be both gentle and tough — physically, emotionally and spiritually. Someday, this will be your armor to protect and defend not only yourself but also others who might be needing your help.
