Since I’m not a make-up junkie, the last supplier I thought about for our wedding is a hair and make-up artist (HMUA in the world of wedding preps). “Oh really, do I need one?” was my initial thought whenever someone would inquire about the make-up artist I booked for the wedding.
But despite my manang ignorance over make-up, I was encouraged to look for one because I didn’t want to look pale on our wedding photos.
I just had two criteria for my make up artist:
- someone who can give me a simple yet elegant “no make up” make up look on my wedding
- someone who can offer me an “expensive looking” inexpensive wedding hair and make up package
Ironic, isn’t it? Such irony was provided to me by my chosen make-up artist Jammy Villas. I got my “no make up” make up look at a cost our wedding budget could afford.
With her cheerful disposition, Jammy was so easy to work with. 🙂
My trial-make up went well for our pre-nuptial photo shoot. 🙂
And because I was happy with my look during our prenup shoot, I chose her to be my HMUA for our wedding. Jammy was the one I had to thank for my simple and fresh look on my wedding day. 😊 Her airbrush make up did make me feel extra confident as a bride.
